Biosynthesis and optimization of highly stable gold nanoparticles, nanoconjugates, nanodrug conjugates and chitosan nanoconjugates using medicinal plants

Abstract Background In the present study, medicinal plants were exclusively selected based on their significant anti-HIV and anticancer activities. The green synthesis of gold nanoparticles was carried out using 15 plant extracts reduction with chloroauric acid. study also focused a novel pharmacognostic approach over usage source. nanoparticle synthesized through possessed potential therapeutic properties plants. resultant attributes nanomaterial alongside phytoactivity. Results Initially, individual (NP) single extract studied for its effective activity. Finally, nanoconjugate (NC) comprising 3 (trio extract) in one synthesized. which exhibited comparatively high activity chosen nanoconjugate, thereby achieving synergistic Further, nanodrug conjugate (NDC) prepared combination AuNPs chemotherapeutic drug, doxorubicin (Dox) cancer antiretroviral drug azidothymidine (AZT) HIV. Conclusions A helps to enhance efficiency drug. brings about combinatorial effect nanomaterials biocompatible nanocarrier developed as chitosan STPP gelating agent doxorubicin. reaction optimized under various underlying parameters. proved be stable at temperature different buffers ensured safe option bioassays vivo applications.
